The tattoos on Ziad's back are fake "Except for the Christ head"
I applied them for the movie, they appear to be very bright, but they were toned down with make up.
I was instructed by Martin Scorsese to put the portrait of Christ on Ziad's back, "it was suppose to be fake also, but we did it for real. Mr. Scorsese was impressed.
Ziad's back is very visible in the movie, they actually do a close up of it.
